I never thought I would be this much of a slacker on our blog! Now for a little catch up, not all. Just a little. JD turned 7 on the 23rd last month. Can't believe our lil man is getting so big! Am I really that old? Next Friday I will be the big 3-0. WOW!
Here is the cake I made for him. He had a super-hero themed party because of the enormous pinata I made for him.
It only took me about 6 hours to make is all! What a pain. All for the kids to beat it and throw it away. What a waste! It was a fun party. JD had lot's of fun with his friends and that is all that matters. We had pizza, played games, the kids made their own party bags and bat-man like cuffs. Pinned the bat on the bat-man symbol and beat the pinata for candy. Then came the cake and ice-cream. Lastly, JD opened the presents. (His favorite part.) He is such a sweet boy. He brings so much joy into our lives. He is very smart, still shy and loves his Lego's more than anything. He likes school and is doing really well. He has a tender heart and such a sweet spirit. We love you JD!
